Q: How Do I Make My Offer Stand Out to Sellers?

In multiple-offer situations, this tip will help get your offer accepted.
You may have heard that the real estate market is hot and inventory is low. When inventory is low, that generally means we’re seeing multiple-offer situations, which means multiple people are competing for the same home.
We’ve found that one way to get buyers' offers accepted is to try to have as short of a contingency period as possible. You can even remove some of the contingency periods to get more than one thing done at the same time. For example, if you have a 17-day inspection contingency, also get your appraisal done during those 17 days. Your inspection contingency is considered a “free look,” so you do not have to give a reason for backing out of the deal. We highly recommend shortening your contingency time to make your offer look much stronger.
